Characters of ripe black fruits and cherries layered with notes of dark chocolate, anise and Earl Grey tea, rounded out with hints of juniper and sage all on a rich oak background. The wine features a fresh entry in the mouth, then lush body with just a bit of pleasing structure, and a long, persistent finish. Drinking condition for more than a decade from vintage.
We suggest pairing Yarden Rom with any full-flavored meat dish, such as smoky lamb short ribs or braised lamb shanks. The wine also goes wonderfully with a hot serving of a rich cassoulet on a cold night.
